About The Project
The DeBordieu Beach House marks our seventh project with this family—a relationship built over years of trust, collaboration, and a deep understanding of how they live. From the first architectural drawings through the final furnishings and décor, Black Sheep guided every detail of this three-year journey.
Designed as a contemporary oceanfront retreat, the home balances sophisticated elegance with the calm of a private spa. A restrained palette, layered materials, and intentional lighting create moments of quiet impact, while every design decision was carefully tailored to support one homeowner’s mobility needs, allowing the home to function beautifully without compromise.
Created as a gathering place for three daughters, eight grandchildren, and generations to come, this home is more than a coastal escape. It’s a place where family returns, reconnects, and creates lasting memories together.
