Rather than transforming the home into something new, this lakeside renovation was designed to enhance everything that already made it special. Thoughtful updates elevated the home’s character while preserving the warmth and charm that made it feel like a true Southern lake cottage.
Reclaimed timber beams, layered architectural details, and a bright, welcoming palette create a home that feels collected and timeless. Soft feminine touches are balanced with natural materials and relaxed furnishings, resulting in spaces that are both elegant and effortlessly comfortable.
The result is a home that feels refreshed without losing its soul—honoring its original character while creating a more beautiful, functional place for family and friends to gather by the lake.
