About The Project
Designed as a primary residence for a young family of five, Millwright Place was created to feel welcoming from the very first day. Working closely with the homeowners from afar, Black Sheep Interiors guided the project remotely, delivering a home that was fully furnished, thoughtfully detailed, and ready to be lived in the moment the family arrived.
Perched on the rolling landscape of Lake Oconee, the home draws inspiration from its natural surroundings with warm wood tones, organic textures, and subtle mountain influences. Durable materials were carefully selected to support everyday family life, while layered finishes and a balance of masculine and feminine details create a home that feels both refined and relaxed.
Every space was designed around the family’s lifestyle, proving that beauty and practicality can coexist. The result is a home that feels deeply personal, effortlessly functional, and completely finished—allowing the family to focus on making memories instead of finishing a to-do list.
